GRIFFIN

In Greek mythology, Griffins were known for their magical finesse; they were creatures that exuded power and magnificence, remarked much for their strength and boldness in the face of fear and doubt. It is much of the same with the students in Griffin, we have not only the potential to achieve what everyone believes impossible; but we will deliver it with a smile. Our house motto is ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ and it is true. Griffin students are risk-takers who will stop at nothing to achieve the best that they can, who will rise above challenges and any obstacle that may come their way to reach their intentions. Griffin students work hard on a day to day basis as can be shown in the points that we gain daily but we have to use the same determination and dedication of gaining the points to make sure that we uphold this standard and make sure that we work together as a team which we believe that Griffins surely have the power and strength of doing. We believe that one of the most important keywords, of which empower us, is integrity; integrity allows us to not only understand right from wrong, but it allows us to educate ourselves on matters and allows Griffin students to reflect on what we can do as a team, as a house, as a community to make sure that we can achieve the best results that we can and we will deliver because we are sincere and thorough with all our efforts. With the united work of our Griffin teachers, our Griffin head and vice captains and most importantly the students; we have set our sights and wings to ensure we lift the House Cup to a crowd of fellow Griffin students. We have the determination, the will power and the resilience to succeed as a collective house. Integrity,The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Griffin house is all about honesty and moral principles, we are a varied group of student/teachers being a whole and undivided society, and we work together as a team to achieve. Being part of a community means being a part of something greater than you. It’s about sharing, growing and opening up to who you are and what you believe in. To us being in Griffin house helps us understand that we are all a group of individuals connected by one or more society. As a group of people honesty is the ‘key’ to everything. Griffins are people that have a powerful quality to them; they know themselves, they seem comfortable in their own skin and fundamentally, under pressure, they succeed.
